James Earl Darton, a man wanted for questioning in the shooting death of Sand Springs woman Kimberly Ragland, has been arrested, jail records show.

Tulsa Police officers arrested Darton, of 4258 Sunglo Parkway in Sand Springs, Thursday afternoon.

He was booked into the David L. Moss county jail on a felony complaint of First Degree Murder, records show.

Tulsa Police officers found Ragland, 29, shot to death in the passenger seat of her car at a Tulsa park shortly after midnight May 9.

Shortly after that, Tulsa Police named Darton as a "person of interest" in the killing, said Officer Leland Ashley, with the Tulsa Police Department.

Ragland left behind three children.

I'm so glad they caught this murderer...He murdered a mother of 3 little girls. Kim was family to someone very close and dear to me,,,the pain they have suffered is horrible. I hope now they can have some peace knowing this low-life is behind bars and will pay for what he has done to Kim, her girls and her family.

Hope you rot in prison James Earl dont deserve to see the light of day again.

I am usually a forgiving person, but in this circumstance I am not as much... I hope he pays horribly for what he has done. He took away a mom of three on mothers day and that is horrible all in itself.... PUNISH HIM!!!
